subdomain is part of a main domain name that can be used to organize and structure your website content. It is a way to create separate sections of your website under a unique URL.

For example, if your main domain is “,” you can create a subdomain like “”

To create a subdomain from cPanel, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Look for the “Domains” section and Click on the “Subdomains” icon within cPanel.
  3. On the subdomain management page enter the desired name for your subdomain (e.g., “blog” for “”).
  4. Choose the domain you want to create the subdomain for from the drop-down menu.
  5. The “Document Root” field will be automatically filled based on the subdomain name you entered.
  6. Click the “Create” button to create the subdomain in cPanel.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your subdomain should be created and ready to use. It will create a folder for the subdomain in your public_html folder then you can upload content for that subdomain, which will be accessible via the subdomain URL you specified during the creation process.
